Objective:The current,the incidence of domestic thyroid cancer(TC) has risen to the top of head and neck malignant tumor, The incidence is about 3 times in women than in men, the peak incidence of 49 to 69 years of age. Differentiated thyroid carcinoma(DTC) accounts for about 90% of the pathological type, including papillary and follicular carcinoma. The occurrence and development of thyroid cancer is associated with a variety of factors, such as the mutation of tumor suppressor gene, the activation of oncogenes, the overexpression of anti-apoptotic gene and EGFR, but its mechanism of action is not yet clear of cancer. Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) plays a special role in tumor growth, proliferation, invasion and metastasis. Survivin is a newly discovered so far the minimum inhibition of apoptosis protein, it belongs to the members of the family of apoptosis inhibiting protein, but has the most powerful anti-apoptotic effects. Research shows, EGFR may be involved in its Survivin inhibits apoptosis, leading to thyroid cancer occurred. Both experiments prove the existence of high expression in tumor tissue, on the contrary low or no expression in normal adult tissues, making it the relationship between cancer cells become more direct and therefore an ideal target for cancer diagnosis and treatment research. In this study, the expression of Survivin and EGFR in thyroid cancer and non-cancerous tissues, to investigate the expression of Survivin and EGFR in thyroid cancer, relevance and significance of bothMethods:1 Select the thyroid carcinoma of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, that through total thyroidectomy during 2004-2014, and complete clinical data are archived in department, choose 40 cases with thyroid tissue that unilateral gland leaves is thyroid carcinoma tissue and the contralateral gland is non cancerous tissue,and all the tissue samples were pathology diagnosis. Get 80 cases of thyroid carcinoma side tissue, as the experimental group(Specimen- with part two points A and B groups), 80 cases of the contralateral non-cancerous tissue as the control group( Specimen- with part two points a and b groups). All specimens were starting, had not received preoperative radiotherapy, chemotherapy and endocrine therapy. To review all specimens by the high qualification pathologists.2 By adopting the method of immunohistochemical to detect the expression of Survivin(A and a) and EGFR(B and b).3 The data statistical analysis using SPSS16.0 software package. The comparison of Survivin protein and EGFR expression with X2 test. The Correlation analysis using X2 test of contingency table data and Pearson column connection number C With P < 0.05 for statistical significance.Results:1 By adopting the method of immunohistochemical to detect the expression of Survivin in different thyroid lesions in the organization.Survivin in thyroid carcinoma and non-cancerous tissue were expressed, corresponding positive expression rate of 57.5% and 10%, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). In thyroid carcinoma, papillary carcinoma, follicular carcinoma and medullary carcinoma of Survivin positive expression rate of 51.61%, 66.67% and 100% respectively, but the difference was no statistically significant(P > 0.05).2 The expression of Survivin protein’s relationship with thyroid cancer clinical pathological factors.Survivin positive expression rate in thyroid carcinoma with differdnt pathological types, different gender, different ages, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05). But is associated with lymph node metastasis(P < 0.05).5 Survivin expression in thyroid lesions in the organization’s relationship with EGFR.In thyroid carcinoma tissues Survivin protein positive expression rate and positive expression rate of EGFR is connected, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05), Pearson column contact number C=0.472, the correlation is larger, and the positive correlation.Survivin protein and EGFR expression in thyroid carcinoma tissue associated with thyroid carcinoma between invasive, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1 The expression of Survivin in thyroid carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than non-cancerous tissues, the difference was statistically significant, may be as a reference index for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid.2 Thyroid cancer clinical stage, lymph node metastasis correlated with the expression of Survivin protein,and the the expression of Survivin protein can be used as a reference index for assessing the degree of benign and malignant thyroid cancer.3 The expression of EGFR in thyroid carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than non-cancerous tissues, may be as benign and malignant thyroid nodules index of differential diagnosis.4 Thyroid cancer lymph node metastasis correlated with the expression of EGFR,and the the expression of EGFR can be used as a reference index for thyroid cancer risk evaluation.5 Survivin and EGFR which was positive expression in thyroid carcinoma is associated, and with greater positive correlation, prompt the synergy of both may have a close, promote the occurrence and development of thyroid carcinoma.6 Co-expression of Survivin and EGFR with lymph node metastasis in thyroid cancer, was significantly higher than non-metastatic thyroid carcinoma group, the difference was statistically significant, suggesting it may be synergistic effect on cancer cells, while promoting its invasion and metastasis of cancer cells, both of which were positively correlated.
