Filter Utility Of Neutrophil CD64 As Biomarkers Of Early Stage Burn With Sepsis | | Posted on:2016-07-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Z Chen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2284330461470611 | Subject:Burns and Plastic Surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Purpose To explore the utility of neutrophil CD64 in the role of early burn sepsis screening.Methods Collecting 102 hospitalized burn patients in affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from 2008 to 2014,separated to two groups:burn sepsis group (n=50) and control group(n=52).Two milliliters peripheral blood samples were collected within 2-3 d after hospital admission for analysis of neutrophil CD64 and c-reactive protein (CRP) level.These parameters were re-evaluated for the patient in burn sepsis group 2 weeks after therapy and were comparatively analyzed before and after treatment.Analyzing the differences between each parameters and using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve compare specificity and sensitivity of neutrophil CD64 and CRP in early burn sepsis screening.Results 1ã€Neutrophil CD64 and CRP were significantly higher in sepsis patients than in control group before treatment, the result was statistically significant (P< 0.01);2ã€Neutrophil CD64 and CRP were significantly decrease after treatment, the difference was statistically significant compared to the pretreatment levels(P< 0.01);3ã€Using ROC curve analysis, it concluded that the specificity and sensitivity of screening burn sepsis are higher by using neutrophil CD64 than by CRP.Conclusion The expression of neutrophil CD64 and CRP is useful as sensitive index in early screening of burn sepsis.and neutrophil CD64 is more sensitive than CRP.Combined test of neutrophil CD64 and CRP can improve the sensitivity and specificity of screening of burn sepsis. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | CD64(Fcγ-RI), Burns, Sepsis, CRP | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
