Clinical Study On The Combination Of Bleeding Cupping And Moxibustion Therapy For Acne Of Yin-Deficiency Body Constitution

ObjectiveThis research aims to observe the clinical effect and improvement of symptoms before and after the combination of bleeding cupping and moxibustion therapy in improving Yin-deficient constitution and treating acne. And provides effective methods for clinical in treating acen and regulating imbalanced constitution by exploring the safety and efficacy of this treatment.MethodsAdopt randomized control method, randomly divided 60 yin-deficient Constitutional acne patients into treatment group and control group with 30 patients each. First of all, two groups of patients who has mature cysts and pustules in his face was given local treatment. The control group was only given the acupuncture thearpy in the following traditional differentiation acupoints:BL13, BL12,DU14, GB14, LI14, ST44, LI11, SI18.The treatment group was given the regulating imbalanced-constitution thearpies (bleeding cupping and moxibustion). The treatment of facial acne and bleeding cupping was one time a week. The other therapies were take by every 3 or 4 days,2 weeks as a course. Observe both the differences of acne lesions integral and the constitution integration after 4 courses. Established a database and analyzed the data with SPSS19.0. ResultsAfter four courses of the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment was 89.66%, and the control group was 71.42%, the difference has statistical significant after comparing(P<0.05). As to the improvement of facial skin lesions, both group before and after treatment had a significant difference (P<0.05), but the improvement of treatment group is superior to control group’ s. In the respect of constitution improvement,the treatment group before and after treatment has significant difference (P<0.05).However, the control group had no obvious change before and after treatment in constitution improvement(p>0.05). And the contro group was significant lower than the control group after treatment in such aspect(p<0.05).ConclusionBoth the treatment group and the control group were made certain effect in curing acne, but treatment group is higher than control group in total effective rate. As to the improvement of facial skin lesions, two groups had a significant difference after treatment, but the improvement of treatment group is superior to control group’s. In the respect of constitution improvement, the treatment group before and after treatment has significant difference but the control group had no obvious change. The combination of bleeding cupping and moxibustion therapy can improve constitution fundamentally and it also can provide guidance for clinical.
