Analysis on the relationship between TCM syndrome type and uveitis macular edema type.Methods38 patients’(63 eyes) data were included in the study. These patients were diagnosed the uveitis macular edema in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from 2009 to 2014. This study would collect the best corrected visual acuity,OCT indexes (including edema type, central foveal thickness, diameter lmm average thickness, central fovea of macula total volume)and TCM syndrome type. This study would observe the OCT indexes and visionthe type of uveitis. All these data were analyzed by Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 19.0.ResultsIn this study,63 eyes visual acuity included less than 0.1 in 21 eyes,0.1-0.3 in 16 eyes,0.3-0.6 in 17 eyes,0.6-0.9 in 9 eyes. There are 9 patients of posterior and 29 patients of panuveitis. After OCT examination, we found that 27 eyes were diffuse macular, and 17 eyes were neuroepithelium detachment, and 14 eyes were neuroepithelium detachment with diffuse macular edema, while, 5 eyes were cystoid edema with diffuse edema.8 eyes of all were spleen deficiency phlegm dampness,43 eyes of all were rheumatism with heat,12 eyes of all were Qi deficiency and blood stasis.27 eyes were diffuse macular edema in OCT,7.4% dialectical as the spleen dampness,85% dialecttical for rheumatism with hear, Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome differentiation for 7.6%; 17 eyes were neuroepithelium detachment,29% dialectical as the spleen dampness,52% dialectical for rheumatic clip hot, there are 18% dialectical as Qi deficiency and blood stasis;14 eyes of all were diffuse consolidation neuroepithlium detachment, included 57% dialecticalfor rheumaticclio hot and 43% dialectical Qi deficiency and blood stssis syndrome.Conclusion1. There was a correlation between the type of OCT macular edema and visual acuity. There was a good relationship between OCT macular foveola thickness and diameter average foveal vision. There was a correlation between the total volume of OCT macular edema and visual acuity.2. OCT macular edema type did has a close relationship with OCT macular foveola thickness. There was correlation of OCT macular edema type and different types of uveitis.3.There was not correlation between TCM syndrome type and visual acuity.4. The correlation between TCM syndrome type and different types of uveitis. The true existence between TCM syndrome type and OCTmacularedematype. |
