The Effect Of Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection In Acupoint Injection For The Treatment Of Cough Variant Asthma Patients

ObjectiveThe topic targets at cough variant asthma(CVA) patients, and through comparing the Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in combination with Seretide in acupoint injection with the simple use of Seretide for the influence on the lung function, provocation test, total peripheral blood eosinophils and IgE, and to find out the effect of Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in acupoint injection for the treatment of cough variant asthma patients, so as to explore the adaptability of Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in acupoint injection, and provide some new ideas for the medical treatment of cough variant asthma.MethodFind 60 patients of patients who have suffered from cough variant asthma from January in 2014 to September in 2014 in Foshan Nanhai No.5 People Hospital, and randomly divide them as Comparison Group and Experimental Group with 30 cases in each group. The Comparison Group was just given western medicine, while the Experimental Group was applied Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in acupoint injection base on the Control Group. Both groups were treated for five weeks. PEF, PEFR and Bronchial provocation test (BPT) were observed before treatment and one week, three weeks, five weeks after the treatment, while cough visual analogue scale and TCM symptom scores were observed before and after treatment. Check the plasma IgE of patients before and after treatment. In order to assess the safety of this study, three routine examinations including blood, urine and stool, liver and kidney function are needed to test. After the observation, a database is built up through Microsoft Excel 2010 for statistical analysis on the differences and changes between the two groups by SpSS18.0.Result1. After the analysis based on the information of both groups, including gender, age, course of disease, TCM symptom scores before treatment,PEF and PEFR, positive rate of BPT, plasma IgE, peripheral blood eosinophil, P>0.05. Though there is no statistical significance, it is comparable.2. Analysis of clinical curative effect:The results show that the effectual rate of the Experimental Group was 93.33%, and the Control Group was 80.00%. Their effectual rate was no significant difference (P> 0.05). There is an obvious improvement of both groups after the treatment. Through self comparison, the two groups has obvious difference(/><0. 05). The effect of Experimental Group after the treatment is better than the Comparison Group with evident difference (P<0.05). Various data shows that the Experimental Group is better than the Control Group in clinical curative effect.3. PEF and PEFR:Two groups in one week, two weeks, five weeks after treatment compared with before treatment, PEF have been risen both in day and night, while PEFR have been declined. Both group showed an obvious variation in statistic{P<0.05). The Experimental Group is more obvious in night and day maximum degree of PEF increase and decrease, with significant statistical differences (P (0.05), which means the treatment for both groups can make the PEF increase and the PEFR decrease, but the Experimental Group performed better than the Control Group.4. Bronchial Provocation Test (BPT):Through comparing the two groups after treatment and before treatment, the Experimental Group’s stimulate positive rate of BPT is significantly lower than the Control Group after treatment(P<0.05).5. Peripheral blood eosinophils (EOS), and plasma IgE:The EOS and plasma IgE of the Experimental Group is clearly lower than the Control Group(P<0.05), showing that the Experimental Group can significantly reduce the impact of external stimuli on the patients.Conclusion1. The method of Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection combined with basic treatment of western medicine and pure western medicine treatment are effective for CVA patients. However, the method of combining with basic treatment of western medicine can be better, faster in improving clinical symptoms.2. Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in acupoint injection combined with basic treatment of western medicine can improve the maximum PEF in day and night, significantly shows the effect of decreased PEFR, and also shows prominent curative effect in improving the air way hyper-responsiveness aspects.3. Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in acupoint injection combined with basic treatment of western medicine can significantly reduce the impact of external stimuli on the patients.4. There is no abnormal liver function and renal adverse case, which means Chinese treatment in clinical is safer and no side effect.
