| Objective:We should observe the clinical efficacy of pain in post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome treated with elongated Needle, and know clearly about the comprehensive advantages of the treatment on post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome by elongated needle therapy,so that to enrich the theory of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of this disease and provide clinical evidence. Methods:On the basis of the different treatments, 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. The observation group was with elongated needle therapy, and the control group underwent normal acupuncture. The treatment should be done once a day, and 6 times a week. Relevant function was assessing after 20 days. Upper limbs movement function was evaluated by simplified Fugl-Meyer score(FMA),shoulder-hand pain by visual analogue scale(VAS), activities of daily living(ADL)were by modified Barthel index(MBI), and then these data should be analysed by statistics. Results:The FMA scores of the two groups were improved, and the treatment group was higher than the control group. So difference between the two groups had statistical significant(P<0.05). The VAS scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the extent of the treatment group was decreased significantly compared with the control group, so difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). The ADL scores of two groups were increased slightly than before treatment, and the treatment group were significantly higher than the control group. We can conclude that there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Elongated-needle penetration can improve the FMA scale scores, and reduce the VASscale scores of SHS patients. And it can also ease the pain of SHS patients and improve the movement function of upper limbs of the patients. |
