| Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of elongated needle combined with pricking and cupping therapy and routine acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping therapy in the treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome,to evaluate the advantage of elongated needle combined with pricking and cupping therapy, with a view to provide clinical treatment of the disease.Method:Sixty participants with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome met the inclusion criteria had been divided into treatment and control groups, with 30 patients in each group. All of the enrolled patients obtained conventional medical care.On this basis, the treatment group gave elongated needle combined with pricking and cupping therapy, and the control group received routine acupuncture combined with pricking and cupping therapy.Acupuncture once a day,6 times a week;cupping once an alternate day,3 times a week. After 4 weeks, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),and edema score were compared and recorded before and after treatment, and SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Overall efficacy comparison:Following treatment, the treatment group’s total effective rate was 90%,while the control group’s total effective rate was 80%.The difference in clinical efficiency between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)after the nonparametric test;2.VAS score comparison:After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups of patients were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.(P<0.05);3.Comparison of upper extremity FMA scores:After treatment, the upper extremely FMA scores of both groups of patients were all higher than before treatment(P<0.01);the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),with the treatment group outperforming than control group.4.Edema score comparison:After treatment, the edema scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.01);the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05),and the treatment group performed better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Elongated needle therapy coupled with pricking and cupping therapy can help ease shoulder pain, strengthen shoulder function and activity, and reduce edema in SHS patients after stroke.2.Elongated needle therapy coupled with pricking and cupping therapy can keep improving the clinical efficiency of SHS patients after stroke, which can be implemented in clinical practice further. |
