| Objective:To offer the anatomical data of the orientation of the gluteus maximums lateral border in clinical,in order to apply the gluteus maximum flap and the subgluteus maximus space. Methods:To use scalpelã€incisorã€forceps to detach the soft tissueã€fascia, which wrap up muscles to expose the gluteal muscles perfectlyã€posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine.to measure the distance between the posterior superior iliac spine and the anterior superior iliac spine,.The distance was trisection and measure the distance between the lateral- medial one-third point of the line between posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine and the point of intersection of PA line of the iliac spine and the lateral border of the gluteus maximus(every distance was measured three times and adopt average value±deviation)Results:There are 42 cadaver to be measured(male:26 and female:16) 84 sides in total. The average distance between posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine: male:25.55± 1.75cm,female:24.42±1.49cm,There are 4 sides (male:3sides,female:1sides)of the lateral-medial one-third point of the line between posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine just on the lateral border of the gluteus maximus. The distance between the lateral border and the lateral-medial one-third point of the line between posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine, which less than 0.5cm is (all figures are round-off):male:39 sides Average offset distance:0.26±0.13cm, female:26 sides, Average offset distance:0.26±0.12cm,65 sides in total which are less than 0.5 cm of offset distance, Average offset distance:0.26±0.12cm account for 77.38% of all examples, there are 80 sides of the distance of the offset distance less than 1cm which accounts for 95.24%.Conclusions:The lateral- medial one-third point of the line between posterior superior iliac spine and anterior superior iliac spine can be regard as the reference point of the lateral border of the gluteus maximus lateral border. |
