| ObjectiveThis study evaluate the effect of eight confluent points on the treatment of bloating after gynecological laparoscopy by the method of single-blind randomized control.Through this, we can opularize the clinical application of eight confluent points and provide new idea and method for the treatment following gynecological laparoscopy for bloating.MethodsThis study according to diagnosis, inclusion and exclusion criteria selected 60 patients who have accepted laparoscopic gynecology operation in Nanhai TCM hospital between January and August 2014. Making random cards according to the distribution results obtained by random number table.60 patients, in accordance with the random cards, were divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases. This two groups were both treated by routine Western Medicine, conventional nursing and fixed chinese herb decoction. Patients were given 1 dose of chinese herb decoction per day broth until defecation. The treatment group was acupunctured in "hou xi", "lie que", "gong sun", "zu linqi", "tian shu", "zhi gou", "shang juxu". The control group was acupunctured in "tian shu", "zhi gou", "shang juxu". Two groups accepted acupuncture at 24 hours after surgery, then required acupuncture every other day, until the first defecation. The researchers periodically gauged the degree of abdominal distention in patients, and told patients and their relatives to record the time for the first exhaust and defecation in detail. SPSS19.0 was used for analyse the data for those 60 patients and evaluate the effect of eight confluent points on the treatment of bloating after gynecological laparoscopy.ResultsIndependent-sample T test was used for comparison of exhaust and defecation time between two groups. The results show that on the exhaust time, two groups was no significant difference:F=0.09, P=0.35, P>0.05; but on the defecation time, the experimental group was significantly superior to the control group:F= 0.03, P=0.00, P<0.05. The research suggests that the increase of acupuncture "hou xi", "lie que", "gong sun", "zu linqi" following gynecological laparoscopy, can help bowel movement. On the second and third days after surgery, the extent of bloating was milder in the treated group than that of the control group. But the rank-sum test showed that the degree and the incidence of abdominal distention between two groups had no statistically significant difference:Z48h=-1.73, P48h=0.08; X248h=0.00a,P48h=0.97; Z72h=-1.19, P72h=0.24; X272h=0.76a,P72h=0.38.ConclusionAll told, the increase of acupuncture in "hou xi", "lie que", "gong sun", "zu linqi" following gynecological laparoscopic surgery, can help bowel movement, but it is not obvious in promoting exhaust and reducing bloating. |
