Analysis And Evaluation Of Each City In Jiangsu Province Government Health Expenditure Efficiency And Its Affecting Factors

With the specific implementation of the role of government in the medical field becoming increasingly prominent and the Jiangsu provincial government health reform, the local government of Jiangsu cities input in medical and health aspects of the growing, but the government’s fiscal revenue is limited. In this context, we should not only focus the government’s health size, efficiency and more attention should be paid to the government health expenditure.This paper will first divide government health expenditure performance into process performance and result performance, and evaluate the performance of each city in Jiangsu province local government health expenditure through the DEA model. We can draw the process performance and results of performance trends, but the comprehensive efficiency between the obvious differences, mainly because the pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. In order to study the causes of results of performance differences, enhance the government health expenditure results performance, this paper does regression analysis based on the performance evaluation by using panel regression model of Tobit on the performance of health expenditure of the government of Jiangsu Province and the results of external environmental factors.
