Observing Different Segments Of The Nerve Root Type Cervical Spondylosis Patients To Cervical Vertebrae Joint Loosening Method

Objective:Observing different segments of the nerve root type cervical spondylosis patients to use unified massage healing method, symptoms improve the situation. Firstly analyzing and discussing the differences of recovery time and recovery rate between different segments of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, which is beneficial to help the regulate healing development of massage of nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Methods:Based on the diagnostic criteria on cervicalspondylotic radiculopathy made by the second National Symposium on cervical spondylosis in 1993 and the fundamental collection case basis on The Standard of Orthopedics of TCM Syndrome Diagnosis and Treatment issued by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994, randomized single blind clinical trial design method was be used. According to the differences between clinical symptoms and imaging examination, the patients were segmented into two groups. The observation group was C5-6 segment symptom group while the control group is C6-7 segment symptom group. The control group and the observation group simultaneously used cervical vertebrae joint loosening method to treat, every other day for one time and seven times for a course of treatment. Patients’ pain symptom were decided by using simplified McGill pain questionnaire (SF—MPQ) in first treatment and after each treatment, and the patients’ changes of symptoms before and after treatment were observed and analyzed and untoward effect was recorded. The efficacy evaluation used single blind method and evaluated by botanic physician who did not participate in the experimental grouping and treatment, so as to reduce the bias of evaluation results.Results:the clinical observation results show that:using cervical vertebrae joint loosening method to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy can significantly improve patient pain symptoms with curative effect; recovery rate and recovery time of different segments of the nerve root type cervical spondylosis have obvious differences. The recovery time of patients who based on C5.6 segment of nerve root symptoms are short with fast recovery rate.Conclusion:The cervical joint loosening method has obvious therapeutic effect on cervical spondylosis of nerve root type cervical vertebra; usingcervical vertebrae joint loosening method to treat ccervicalspondylotic radiculopathy. and recovery rate and recovery time of different segments of the nerve root type cervical spondylosis have obvious differences. The recovery time of patients who based on C5-6 segment of nerve root symptoms are short with fast recovery rate.
