Sanyang Acupuncture Points After Stroke Wrist And Hand Dysfunction Clinical Research

Object:Comparison of the clinical efficacy of wrist and hand after stroke dysfunction through acupuncture and traditional acupuncture points Sanyang and evaluate their effectiveness.Methods:After 60 patients met the inclusion criteria stroke wrist and hand function disorders were randomly divided into two groups randomly,Treatment group,30 cases, including 12 males and 18 females, mean age 57.87±9.95 years, mean duration of 82.13±29.94 days;Control group of 30 cases, including 16 males and 14 females, mean age 56.63+ 9.01 years, mean duration of 81.23 ± 32.13 days;The treatment group received acupuncture treatment in the control group on the basis of the traditional method of treatment plus stab Sanyang pockets. The control group using traditional acupuncture treatment.The two groups were once daily treatment, every six days of continuous treatment course rest one day, a total of four courses of treatment.After four courses of the clinical effect of changes in rates were observed by Fugl-Meyer upper extremity functional scale and Barthel index, degree of recovery of upper limb motor function and activities of daily living before treatment and after treatment,60 patients were related to assessment.Results:Sanyang acupuncture points of traditional acupuncture treatment group and a control group could significantly improve the Fugl-Meyer (FMA) upper limb motor function score, Barthel index scores within two groups have significant difference before and after treatment (P<0.05).Before treatment, FMA, there was no significant difference (P>0.05) between the Barthel Index score group, after treatment between the two groups was significant difference (P<0.05), showed that the treatment method of traditional acupuncture plus stab Sanyang hole in improving upper limb movement function, activities of daily living aspects, more effective than the traditional acupuncture group.Conclusions:(1) after the treatment of acupuncture points can improve stroke Sanyang hand wrist dysfunction upper limb motor function score and activities of daily living index patient’s wrist and hand can be used to stroke dysfunction treatment.(2) Sanyang method and the traditional acupuncture points acupuncture manipulation of wrist and hand after stroke dysfunction have clinical efficacy, but the treatment group than the control group.
