Objective:To observe patients who are suffering from Anterior Cerebral Artery (ACA) of Lacunar Infarction on the advisability of the meridian by clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment at Jingquacupoint (LU 8) with different stimulation point in time which will affect the measurement of patients’ blood flow velocity of Anterior Cerebral Artery (ACA), PI and RI values by Tanscranial Doppler Ultrasound Device. Methods:The number of selection of the patient who are suffering on Lacunar Infarction is 30 subjects, which is divided into male 19 subjects, female 11 subjects. The average of the subjects’ age are 58.40±1.67. All patients are required to meet the standard diagnostic criteria of Lacunar Infarction and the disease duration between 15-30 days in stable condition. The experimental environment is set to a room temperature 20-26℃, relative humidity at 40-60%, use 0.35×40mm needle insert on the left Jingquacupoint (LU 8) about 0.3 inches depth,1st needle manipulation(15 minutes of needle retention),2nd needle manipulation (30 minutes of needle retention), perform needle stimulation by using reinforcing-reducing method for 15 second, rotation speed is 6 rotations per second, altogether 90 rotations, then needle removal after 45 minutes of needle retention. After that, observe and record patients’affection of before and after insertion of needle on both side blood flow velocity of Anterior Cerebral Artery’s (ACA) PI and RI values who are suffering on Lacunar Infarction on acupuncture at Jingquacupoint (LU 8) and carried out comparison on TCD of each parameter (Vs, Vd, Vm, PI, RI) on 10 minutes before acupuncture, after needle insertion, during 15 minutes of needle retention, during 30 minutes needle retention, during needle withdrawal, and 5 minutes after needle removal by using TCD. The statistical analysis resulting data will deal with SPSS17.0 system, P<0.05 with statistical significance.Results:1.Effect of Right Anterior Cerebral Artery (RACA) when needling on the left Jingquacupoint (LU 8):According to the experiment, there were no statistical significance and did not had any obvious changes in any RACA of blood flow velocity parameter (p>0.05)if compared on 10 minutes before acupuncture with during needle insertion,1st needle manipulation(15 minutes of needle retention),2nd needle manipulation (30 minutes of needle retention), during needle withdrawal,5 minutes after needle removal.2.Effect of Left Anterior Cerebral Artery (LACA) when needling on the right Jingquacupoint (LU 8):According to each time blood flow velocity of LACA in peak velocity of systole (Vs), peak velocity of diastole (Vd) and velocity of mean (Vm)were seems after inserting needle which qi sensation arrived the blood flow was higher than on 10 minutes before needle, statistical significance (P<0.05). There did not have obvious changes (P>0.05) in Vs, Vd, Vm if compared on 10 minutes before acupuncture with 1st needle manipulation (15 minutes of needle retention),2nd needle manipulation (30 minutes of needle retention), during needle withdrawal,5 minutes after needle removal.3.Effect of Anterior Cerebral Artery (ACA) PI and RI values when needling on the left Jingquacupoint (LU 8):There were no statistical significance (P>0.05) and did not had any obvious changes in any PI and RI value before and after needle on both side of Anterior Cerebral Artery.Conclusion:1.According to needle on the left Jingquacupoint (LU 8), the blood flow velocity of right Anterior Cerebral Artery (RACA) and blood vessel elasticity did not have significant effect.2. The blood flow velocity of left Anterior Cerebral Artery (LACA) was increasing after needle insertion on left Jingquacupoint (LU 8) but no significant different on others time. It was seem no effect on elasticity and compliance before and after needle insertion.
