Drug Price Management And Countermeasures In China Since The New Medical Reform

In recent years, people are constantly complaining bad and expensive medical treatment. It has become an important livelihood issue nowadays. The primary problem is about the too expensive drug price. After several rounds of drug price control, we have achieved some success. But it did not fundamentally solve the problem of drug prices artificially high. In 2009, China launched a new round of health care reform, with the hope to effectively reduce people’s burden of medical costs. I did survey and empirical study about implementation effect of Zhejiang’s drug policy, aim to find out effective countermeasures for solving drug price problem, to promote the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry, and finally to improve the administrative ability of price regulation. This essay has therefore important theoretical and practical significance. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the preface, introduces the research background and significance. The author used literature analysis research method, history research method in this essay. Part two introduces drug price management, clarifies the concept of drug price management, analyzes the theoretical basis and necessity of pharmaceutical price controls, combing the Chinese historical evolution of the price management, citing new medical reform measures since the management of drug prices. The third part is the carding the historical evolution of China price management, introduces drug price control measures from the-new reform in 2009. The fourth part is the presentation of new drug prices since reform measures implementation effect, through the analysis of implementation, found that drug price control measures to control prices have made certain achievements, but there are still some problems, such as drug "reduced price death" phenomenon still exists, the drug centralized purchasing has certain moisture, private pharmacies on drug pricing policy implementation is not ideal, and from the aspects of drug approval, pricing, distribution, purchase, reimbursement and government investment, department coordination, deeply to find the cause of the effect of policy implementation deviation. The fifth part puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen the management of drug prices in some, including the perfection of the mechanism of drug pricing, improve the level of price regulation and service, deepen the reform of the medical security system, strengthening the circulation of pharmaceutical production,circulation, use management and synchronous follow up supporting measures.
