Objective:Prospective comparison and evaluation the clinical efficacy and safety on procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) and traditional Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy (MMH) in treating â…¢ degree mixed hemorrhoids, and through the objective evaluation, which has been made for the situation of postoperative anal function from anorectal manometry. Methods:Enrolled the patients between June 2013 to June 2014 in the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university anorectal department,120 patients with â…¢ degree mixed hemorrhoids divided into two groups according to patients choice, each group of 60 cases and take the operation of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) and Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy (MMH).Prospective observe the two groups of patients with operation time, intraoperative pull discomfort, postoperative anal pain, postoperative bleeding, postoperative anal edema, postoperative anal stenosis and postoperative hospital stay, after 6 months, the two groups of postoperative patients take anorectal pressure to evaluate the anal function recovery. Results:Compared with the MMH group, patients accept the PPH have the characteristic of shorter intraoperative pull and discomfort, lighter postoperative pain, lighter postoperative anal weeks edema, differences between the two groups was statistically significant (P< 0.05); Two groups of operation time, postoperative bleeding, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative anal narrow differences had no statistical significance (P> 0.05).Six months after operation, PPH group with anal inhibitory reflex positive rate, anal canal resting pressure, anal canal high pressure zone length were significantly higher than MMH surgery group (all P< 0.05); But the two groups of patients with rectal resting pressure, maximal anal contractive pressure, no statistical significance (all P> 0.05).Conclusions:In the treatment of III degree mixed hemorrhoids, procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids is better than Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy, have a better protective in physiological function of the anus, but want to consider the pull and discomfort of the problems existing in the operation.
