Purpose: Protective effect of this subject by observing the Pyrola of chimaphilin in rat cerebral ischemia animal, and to explore its mechanism, to provide experimental data for clinical reasonable, safe use of Pyrola chimaphilin in treatment of ischemic encephalopathy, and to further improve the theory of traditional Chinese Medicine Foundation brain foundation experiment, help on the development of new drugs in clinical.Method: Selected 120 healthy Wistar rats, half male and half female, weighing about 250-300 g. The rats were randomly divided into four groups, 30 rats in each group. Including: sham operation group(sham saline control group); group A(sham operation group was given the Xianmei umbellata); group B(operation group given Ginkgo biloba extract intervention group(surgery); give Pyrola Mei Li Cao Suzu). These animals preoperative continuous administration of 3D, animal model, effects of Pyrola in leaves of Chimaphila observation on brain water content, cerebral infarct volume and neurological.Result: Chimaphilin in area of ischemic cerebral infarction in rats 1, Pyrola: TTC staining was applied to image analysis software to calculate, the percentage of cerebral infarction of cerebral hemisphere white area, to determine the area of cerebral infarction. The results show that, the permanent cerebral ischemia rat model of ischemic stroke(cerebral infarction area of rats was 34.3 + 3.2), compared with the cerebral ischemia model group, Herba Pyrolae chimaphilin intervention in the area of cerebral infarction group were significantly decreased. Chimaphilin on brain edema in ischemic rats 2 Effects of Pyrola: by measuring the brain water content by dry wet weight method, the formula:(wet weight dry weight) / wet weight X 100% calculation, to determine the status of cerebral edema. The results showed:(1) compared with the sham operation group injury cortex tissue water content in brain tissue of a group, the control side moisture damage increased significantly(p<0.01);(2) compared with the control group a injury cortex tissue water content in brain tissue of B group, the control side moisture damage increased significantly(P<0.01);(3) compared with the control group B injury cortex tissue water content, the intervention group injury side water content decreased(p<0.05);Show that the state of cerebral edema in Pyrola chimaphilin can improve the ischemic brain tissue. 3, the Zea Longa- Longa method on the basis of neurological assessment, results:(1) compared with the sham operation group, control group a score increased(p<0.01).(2) compared with the control group A, control group B neurological score(p<0.01).(3) compared with B group, the intervention group were lower(p<0.05).Conclusion: 1、Ischemic stroke rat model 1, prepared in the experiment is reliable, the injury of brain tissue specific in brain tissue of experimental rats(cerebral infarction and cerebral edema), and is associated with neurobehavioral changes; 2、Pyrola of chimaphilin in Phoenix ischemic rats had obvious effects of pharmacological intervention: the performance of reducing infarct area, alleviate brain edema, improve the abnormal neural behavior in rats. Tip: Pyrola of chimaphilin has a neuroprotective effect.
