This experiment studies the hypotensive activity of royal jelly when the dose are high (1.5g/kg), middle (1.0g/kg) and low (0.5g/kg). The hypotensive activity of the total protein, MRJP1and MRJP2extracted from royal jelly was also studied, the result is that:(1) Royal jelly all reduce blood press when the doses are high, middle, and low: Giving mouse15mg/(kg-d) L-NNA using intraperitoneal injection method for4weeks, the hypertension models of the mouse was built. After feeding the mouse with royal jelly high dose (1.5g/kg), middle dose (1.0g/kg) and low dose (0.5g/kg)for2weeks, blood pressure records of mice were recorded, the results showed that the dose of royal jelly in the hypertensive rats blood pressure decreased to normal level, while the blood Ang-II, ET-I, MDA and NO recovered to normal level.(2) Extraction of total protein, MRJP1, and MRJP2from royal jelly:the total protein of the royal jelly was extracted by using (NH4)2SO4, and MRJP1and MRJP2were extracted by supercentrifugation. It was found that the total protein is12.62%of the royal jelly, while MRJP1and MRJP2content is5.67%and1.83%, respectively.(3) The hypotensive activity of the total protein, MRJP1and MRJP2:Feeding the hypertension model mouse with the total protein, MRJP1, and MRJP2, the positive drug captopril control group was set up.2weeks later, we measure their blood pressure record and find that MRJP1the effect of lowering blood pressure is lower than the drug captopril, rather than MRJP2. It needs more studies on the mechanism.
