Clinical Research Of Massage With Gubi Ointment On Treating Knee Osteoatrhritis(Liver And Kidney Deficiency Type)

Purpose: this thesis aims to observe clinical effects and superiority of massage withself-prepared Gubi ointment in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (liver and kidneydeficiency type), and explore corresponding effect mechanism and clinical application.Method:60cases of knee osteoarthritis (liver and kidney deficiency type) suffererswere selected to be divided into treatment group and control group in an even manner, withthe former receiving the treatment of massage with the ointment and the latter taking oralChinese patent medicine, Biqi Capsule.Results: according to the analysis of the statistical data in terms of variousobservation indexes, the value P was found to be larger than0.01, which suggested positivecomparability; considering curative effects, the treatment group reached an efficiency of86.67%while the control group was60.00%and significant specificity was discovered inChi-squared test.Conclusion: both massage with ointment and oral Chinese patent medicine areeffective in the treatment of this disease, however, the former proves to be more curativethan the latter. Moreover, the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with massage with ointmentcan not only alleviate contracture and relieve pain, but also tonify liver and kidney, withthe therapeutic principle of “treating both manifestations and root causes of disease” inChinese medicine fully demonstrated. It can positively bring curative effect and is worthyof wide clinical promotion.
