Objective: To observe immediate analgesia effect of acupuncturing Sanyinjiao andacupuncturing Sanyinjiao and Guanyuan on primary dysmenorrhea and to compare thedifferences between two different acupoint prescriptions as to provide clinical evidence forminimum acupoint number and prioritization scheme improvement.Methods:60patients of primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided intoSanyinjiao group, Sanyinjiao and Guanyuan group and blank control group. We observedthe changes of visual analogue scale, verbal rating scale and SF-MPQ and compared thedifferences of the three groups. Results: Statistically significant differences in visual analogue scale, verbal ratingscale and SF-MPQ were observed in Sanyinjiao group and Sanyinjiao and Guanyuanbefore and after treatment(P<0.05). There wae no statistically significant differences inblank control group before and after treatment (P>0.05). Compared with Sanyinjiao andGuanyuan group, there are no significant differences in pain severity in blank controlgroup(P>0.05). Compared with blank control group, there are significant differences invisual analogue scale, verbal rating scale and SF-MPQ in blank control group (P<0.05).Compared with blank control group, there are significant differences in visual analoguescale, verbal rating scale and SF-MPQ in Sanyinjiao group (P<0.05). Compared with blankcontrol group, there are significant differences in visual analogue scale, verbal rating scaleand SF-MPQ in Sanyinjiao and Guanyuan group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Needling single point (Sanyinjiao) and two points (Sanyinjiao andGuanyuan) can both significantly reduce the pain of primary dysmenorrhea in clinic.2. Forprioritization scheme improvement, needling Sanyinjiao is effective enough for treating primary dysmenorrhea when the pain occurring.3. Needling Sanyinjiao a better analgesiaeffect than needling Sanyinjiao and Guanyuan. |
