Clinic Research And Observation Of Rolling Needle Combined With Asiaticoside In The Treatment Of Mature Striae Gravidarum

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the treatment with rolling needle or rolling needle combined with asiaticoside ointment among31patients who suffered from mature striae gravidarum. Preliminary discuss the mechanism of these two ways.Methods According to the standard of case inclusion and exclusion,31cases were collected, their abdomens were randomly divided in to the treatment sides and the control sides. Treatment sides were treated with rolling needle combined with asiaticoside ointment while control sides with rolling needle only. After8treatments in2courses of treatment, the changes of the appearances of mature striae gravidarum were measured and evaluated.Results31female volunteers aged between24and44have received two courses of treatment. The overall effective rate was80.65%with treatment sides and70.97%with control sides. There were no clinical cure cases in both sides.Compared the total effective rates of two sides, the difference was insignificant (P>0.05).But the use of asiaticoside ointment can significantly alleviate the side effects such as erythema and pigmentation.Conclusion Rolling needle has positive effect on mature striae gravidarum. It is a convenient and safe way, combined with asiaticoside ointment, side effects can be significantly alleviated.
