| Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy for Hawthorn Skullcap Decoction and Gua Shain the treatment of Anorexia (food plot heat type) in order to provide the basis for the clinicalpromotion and application.Method:90children who were suffering from Anorexia (food plot heat type) wereselected as an object of study, they were all from Outpatient Department of Pediatrics, theAffiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and met theinclusion criteria of patients. They were divided into three groups randomly: the treatmentgroup to which Hawthorn Skullcap Decoction and Gua Sha treatment were given, controlgroup1to which Hawthorn Skullcap Decoction was given and control group2to whichJianer Qingjie liquid was given. In order to observe the effect, the participants were treated for2-4courses of treatment (7days for a course) and followed up for6months.Result: In the comparison of pre and post-treatment,90cases were performed by clinicalobservation and evaluation,10cases were cured totally,8cases were markedly,11cases wereeffective and one was ineffective in the treatment group which effective ratio is96.7%;6cases were totally cured,10cases were markedly effective,10cases were effective and4cases were ineffective in the control group1which effective ratio is86.7%;3cases weretotally cured,8cases were markedly effective,12cases were effective and7cases wereineffective in the control group2which effective ratio is66.7%. Derived by statisticalanalysis: the treatment group is significantly better than the control group, control group1iseffective, and more effective than the control group2.Conclusion: In conclusion, Hawthorn Skullcap Decoction is effective in the treatment ofAnorexia (food plot heat type) and is much better than Jianer Qingjie liquid. The combinationof Gua Sha and Hawthorn Skullcap Decoction will significantly show its efficacy whichwould shorten the clinical course and enhance the efficacy and provide a more effective drugand method for the treatment of infantile anorexia (food plot heat type). |
