The Meta Analysis Of Treatment Of Hiccup Mainly By Auricular Therapy

Objective: To evaluating the curative effect of hiccup mainly by auriculartherapy.Method: In accordance with the requirement of evidence-based medicinesystematic evaluation and the standard of the work book of internationalevidence-based medicine center,Cochrane collaboration network,the thesissearches some generally-accepted domestic data base from January,1993toDecember2012, by both computer and hand. The searching strategies are madeaccording to different data bases, which decide the materials that should beused or omitted. Finally provided by the Cochrane collaboration ReviewManager5.1software for statistical analysis.Result: Filters results for47articles involved in the meta analysis ofthe literature.Jadad escore, other than1articles,and the rest are lowquality literature,2582cases amounts to covering Auricular acupoint therapy.According to the different measures of the therapy group,47studies of themare divided into five groups to make comparison. The result shows that theRR[95%CI] is1.35[0.89,1.47]of the therapy of only aricular pointsticking;The RR[95%CI] is1.19[0.97,1.45] of the therapy of only earaccupuntureï¼›The RR[95%CI] is2.44[1.44,4.15] of the therapy of aricular pointsticking combined with other accupunture therapies;The RR [95%CI] is1.20[1,10,1.32] of the therapy of ear acupuncture combined with other accupunture therapies;The RR[95%CI] is0.16[0.16,0.16] of the therapy ofaricular combined with other accupunture and moxibution therapies.Conclusion: The treatment of hiccup mainly by aricular therapy is effective.Aricular therapy combined with other accupunture and moxibution therapies ismore effectively compared with the group by medicine therapy or traditionalaccupunture therapy.The therapy that using auricular only has no advantageover the medicine or traditional acupuncture groups. The research looksforward to more studies to make complementary analysis, in order to find amore reliable and effective therapy.
