| Objective To compare the response of endoscopic sinus surgery plus middle and inferior meatus fenestration with endoscopic maxillary sinus surgery for fungus maxillary sinusitis, analyze its causes and treatmen. Methods The clinical data:70patients with fungal maxillary sinusitis were collected recently years and then divided into two groups, including experiment (35cases) and control groups (35cases). The experiment group recevied endoscopic sinus surgery plus middle and inferior meatus fenestration, which the control group received endoscopic maxillary sinus surgery surgery. All patients with complete case follow-up data. Time for3months to1.5years, an average of1year.Result According to the Haikou and Kunming standard to assess the efficacy of surgery, Postoperative disease outcome:The treatment group were cured35cases,improved in2cases,invalid recurrence one case, efficiency of97.1%and recurrence rate of2.9%;control group, recovery:26cases, improved:6cases,invalid recurrence:3cases, efficiency of91.4%and recurrence rate of8.6%, the two groups were statistically analyzed, P(=0.032)<0.05, with a significant difference. But to compare the two groups’mean operating time, mean bleeding volum and recovery time, with no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion The most common pathogen of the fungal sinusitis is aspergillums. Endoscopic surgery plus middle and inferior meatus fenestration with a lower reoccurrence rate, little injury and easily washing cavity is superior to endoscopic sinus surgery for fungus maxillary sinusitis in clinical efficacy. |
