Clinical Research Of Wuling Powder And Sini Powder Modification To Treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome-diarrhea With Spleen-deficiency And Liver-stagnation Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical effects,safety and recent recurrence rate of Wuling powder and Sini powder modification to treat Irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea (spleen-deficiency and liver-stagnation syndrome), and analyze the application of Qi activity and Gasification theory to treat Irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea.Methods:The60patients with Irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea (spleen-deficiency and liver-stagnation syndrome) from gastroenterology and geriatric clinic of Sichuan province hospital of TCM were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30cases each.The treatment group was treated with Wuling powder and Sini powder modification, while the control group was treated with pinaverium bromide tablets combined with montmorillonite powder. The course of treatment was four weeks. Then the total effective rate, total and each clinical syndrome integral,adverse effect,three routine examinations, liver function, renal function and electrocardiogram between two groups before and after treatment were compared to evaluate the efficacy and safty. Following up effective treatment of patients for three months to observe recent recurrence rate. The statistical methods used SPSS13.0.Results:(1) The totol effective rate between the two groups has prominent difference(p<0.05), the total effective rate of the treatment group is93.3%, that is superior to control group’s76.7%.(2)The curative effect of several clinical symptom between the two groups has significant differences(p<0.05),and the treatment group is better than the control group.(3) No adverse reaction was found between the treatment group and control group.(4) Following up for three months, the recurrence rate of the treatment group is17.86%,that is below the control group’s54.17%. The two groups has obvious difference(p<0.05)Conclusion:Wuling powder and Sini powder modification in treating Irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea (spleen-deficiency and liver-stagnation syndrome) has a remarkable curative effect, a lower recent recurrence rate and a good security and the theory of qi activity and gasification can be applied to guide the awareness and treatment of Irritable bowel syndrome-diarrhea.
