Objectives:To explore the effects of Buyanghuanwu Added Decoction;on hippocampus c-fos、c-jun express in post-stroke depression animal model rats.Methods:The mouse model of focal cerebral ischemia was established by means of middle cerebral artery occlusion. The rats were randomly divided six groups, including the normal group, shame-operated group, post-stroke group, Buyanghuanwu decoction group, Buyanghuanwu decoction added group fluoxetine group, and the PSD model was made by three weeks of salute-living and chronic mild unpredictable stress for last four groups. All the rats will be observed at7,14,21days point after operation. The traveled distance, speed-average (without resting time), and neurological severity score, and rates’ hippocampus c-foss c-jun expressions were measured by immunohistochemical technology. And observe the effects of Buyanghuanwu added decoction.Result:1.When the model of post-stoke depression was established, the traveled distance,speed-average (without resting time) were decreased; but after treatment of Buyanghuanwu added decoction, they were all increased,There was a significant difference compared with PSD group (P<0.05).2.The neurological severity score of rats were increased after post-stoke depression, but treatment of Buyanghuanwu added decoction, it is decreased,The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3. After the21d, compared with the PSD group, the average gray values of c-fos, c-jun in Buyanghuanwu added decoction group and fluoxetine group have increased, and Buyanghuanwu added decoction had the same role with fluoxetine. With the progress of time, compared with the PSD group, two average gray value index for MCAO group has also been increased.Conclusion:1.Buyanghuanwu added decoction can improve the depressive symptoms of cerebral ischemia and promote post-stroke depression and neurological recovery in rats2.Buyanghuanwu added decoction can inhibit the expression of c-fos、 c-jun to reach the effect for the treatment of post-stroke depression.
