| Objective:To investigate the expression of p-mTOR and TSLC1in laryngeal squamouscell carcinoma, and research their correlation to provide theoretic basis ofoncogenosis, diagnosis, and treatment. Methods:To Select70cases of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(LSCC) specimens,The patients consisted of40men and30women with a mean age of61.5years and arange of46–75years.A total of70LC patients (40males and30females) thatreceived laryngeal cancer resection at the Second Affiliated Hospital of JilinUniversity were enrolled in this study. Their ages ranged from46years to75yearswith an average of61.5.There are20patients with metastasis of lymph nodes.(Allspecimens were confirmed by preoperative biopsy. The patients were admitted forthe first time, None of the patients received radiotherapy, chemotherapy) All patientswere confirmed pathologically with LC. They had not received chemotherapy orradiotherapy or other medical interventions prior to surgical operation.(70corresponding adjacent laryngeal tissue were selected from the same patients withLSCC to be control group, which was2cm away from the laryngeal squamous cellcarcinoma).70para-LC non-carcinous tissue specimens were collected randomly (2cm within the border of the tumor and pathologically excluded from cancer cellinfiltration). Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression ofp-mTOR and TSLC1in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and control group.Correlation analysis between the two genes expression of laboratory data wereanalyzed by the SPSS19.0 Results:The p-mTOR expression positive rate was77.1%in Laryngeal squamous cellcarcinoma, which is higher compared to the control group with24.2%positive rate.(P<0.05)The TSLC1expression positive rate was27.1%in Laryngeal squamous cellcarcinomain, which was significant lower than the specimens of adjacent laryngealnormal tissue(P<0.05).The TSLC1protein expression was related to pathologydifferentiation degree and lymphoid metastasis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(P <0.05).and the p-mTOR expression was related to lymphoid metastasis, pathological differentiation of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.05). It turned outthat the expression of p-mTOR was negative related to TSLC1in Laryngeal squamouscell carcinoma(r=-0.426, P<0.01).Conclusion:The expression of TSLC1in Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma is lower, theexpression of p-mTOR in Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissues is higher thanthe control group, the expression of TSLC1was negative related to p-mTOR inLaryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. whereas significant differences were observedwith regard to clinical stage, pathology differentiation degree and lymphoidmetastasis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.(P>0.05). Above all, TSLC1mayinvolved in the occurence and development of Laryngeal squamous cell carcinomaby regulating AKT/mTOR signling pathway. |
