| Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of the arthroscopic release of primary frozen shoulder.Methods:eighteen patients diagnosed of primary frozen shoulder from March2013to January2014were enrolled in the study and arthroscopic release procedure was performed.All cases were followed up for over six months.Pain range of motion(ROM) of shoulder joint and Constant score were compared before and after the operation.Result:Constant score improved from25.3±4.7before surgery to81.1±7.8after surgery.There were significant differences in pain and ROM between two shoulders3months after surgery.Conclusion:Results showed that arthroscopic release was an effective and safe surgical procedure for primary frozen shoulder and has advantages of little invasive better recovery and less complications. |
