Objective: Menopause syndrome, as one of the common disease in gynecological outpatient service, is not only damage the female’s health, but also produce detrimental effects to the Social activities. Especially in the recent period,yearly increase in the incidence of menopause syndrome was reported in the literature.The main clinical symptoms or order of severity of menopause syndrome is different.There are a variety of causes of menopause syndrome. And influencing factors for menopause syndrome have also changed with the change of female’s sex-hormone level,menopause age and basic physique. What’s more,We found that if ABO blood group,race,disposition,culture and life styles are not the same, then the menopause age and influencing factors are not the same, too. This phenomenon indicates that some of the influencing factors can be changed by intervention. In this paper, a detailed study was conducted on patients with menopause syndrome. The influencing factors were discussed in order to provide some effective precautionary approaches to females. We hope that this study can help to achieve the goal of early prevention,improve physically and mentally healthy and raise quality of life.Methods: 468 patients whose pathologies were diagnosed as menopause syndrome during October 2012 to February 2015 period when they were seeing a doctor in the hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The age was ≥40 years old and add up to468 patients. The first screening method was making enquires with face to face. Among them, 433 patients were natural menopause, accounted for 92.5%, 35 patients were artificial menopause, accounted for 7.5%. The natural menopause patients was offered questionnaires and drew blood for a test to find out their ABO blood group,menopause age,menstrual disorders history,algomenorrhea history,number of gestation,smoking history, educational level, uterine fibroids,abortion history and so on. 393 patients were included in the analysis, accounted for 90.76%, there were 252 patients with menopause syndrome, accounted for 64.1%, 141 patients with none syndrome, accounted for 35.9%.We do some statistical analysis with these data, using Excel2007 and SPSS 19.0. We use the mean and standard deviation to represent the measured data such as menopause age.The chi-square test or continuity-adjusted chi-square test was used to judge the correlation between the data we collected, such as menstrual disorders history,algomenorrhea history,number of gestation,smoking history, educational level, uterine fibroids and abortion history. If P <0.05, it means that the differences are statistically significant. Especially to understand the correlation between ABO blood group and menopause age, and each of their statistically significant factors with menopause syndrome.Results: 1. Age that natural menopause occurs was mainly concentrated in ≥45,<55 years old added up to 320, accounted for 81.42%. 2. The differences between ABO blood group and menopause age were statistically significant(P <0.05), testified O blood group female reached menopause earlier than other blood group female and A blood group female reached menopause later than other blood group female. 3. The number of O blood group female with menstrual disorders more than other blood group female, The differences between ABO blood group and menstrual disorders history were statistically significant(P <0.05), testified ABO blood group was connected with menstrual disorders.4. The differences between menopause syndrome and ABO blood group, menopause age, menstrual disorders history,number of gestation,educational level and uterine fibroids were statistically significant(P <0.05), testified ABO bloodgroup, menopause age, menstrual disorders history,number of gestation,educational level and uterine fibroids was connected with menopause syndrome. 5.The differences between menopause syndrome and algomenorrhea history,smoking history and abortion history were not statistical significant(P> 0.05), testified they had play any significant role on its occurrence.Conclusion:1. Age that natural menopause occurs was mainly concentrated in45-54 years old. Menopause syndrome symptom usually occurred 2 years around when menopause reaching, then recurred gradually. The main symptom of Chinese women is hot flash and sweat, secondly is sleep disorder, lack of power, irritable and so on. About40-years-old female who occurred these symptoms should pay more attention. 2. ABO blood group, menopause age, menstrual disorders,number of gestation,educational level and uterine fibroids had play a significant role on menopause syndrome occurrence. 3.If ABO blood group is different, then the menopause age and menstrual disorders history are different, too. Testified ABO blood group was direct or indirect influenced on menopause syndrome. 4. The differences between menopause syndrome and algomenorrhea history,smoking history and abortion history had play any significant role on menopause syndrome occurrence.5.The hygiene mechanism should carry on conventional health education widely, organize women take health checkup fix the date, correct bad living habits. Presently, the effective medical treatment with menopause syndrome symptom is hormone replacement therapy, traditional Chinese medical science or psychotherapy. Therefore, female should find out the susceptible factors and take clinical treatment or psychotherapy on time. In order to achieve the goal of early prevention,improve physically and mentally healthy and raise quality of life.
