The lower age group(20-50 years old) has a significantly higher TT3、FT3、WBC level (P<0.05) than the elder age group(51-82 years old).3.The common symptoms of the disease are:thyroid pain、swollen thyroid、fever、fatigue、 palpitations、pharyngalgia.4. The heat toxin syndrome group are more serious than the pathogenic heat and toxin syndrome group in the syndrome of thyroid pain、swollen thyroid、 fever(p<0.05).ESR of the heat toxin syndrome group is obviously higher than that of pathogenic heat and toxin syndrome group(p<0.05).[Conclusions] 1.Subacute thyroiditis outbreaks more among women in age 30-59 and the female incidence is four times than that of men.Upper respiratory tract infection and a cold are the most important inducement of SAT. Its onset also has particular concern with occupation.2.Young people have a more significant immune inflammation reaction in the hyperthyroidism stage of this disease.3.The common symptoms of the disease are:thyroid pain、 swollen thyroid、fever、fatigue、palpitations、pharyngalgia.4. The degrees of thyroid pain、swollen thyroid、fever can evaluate the severity of patients illnesses; ESR level can be used as reference indicators of syndrome differentiation about subacute thyroiditis(hyperthyroidism stage), and serum thyroid hormone levels can’t be the evaluation index of the disease’s severity.
