| Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of VEGF-C and nm23-H1 in locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). Objective:Choose from July 2007 to November 2009 in the tumor radiotherapy of Yijishan hospital, more than five years and follow-up, 156 patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma in 51 patients were selected to do experiments, by immunohistochemical. Method: To detect the nasopharyngeal carcinoma living tissue(all) into the group, all patients must complete at least radical radiotherapy check specimens in the expression of VEGF- C and nm23 H1, analyze them with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with recurrence and metastasis and survival and the correlation between the Cox regression model analysis of many factors.Result:Nasopharyngeal biopsy specimens VEGF- C the positive expression rate of 58.0% and negative expression of nm23 H1- at a rate of 60.0%.VEGF- C positive expression and metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients(P = 0.012) and shorter survival(P = 0.021) with relevance, negative expression of nm23 and metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients(P = 0.007) and shorter survival(P = 0.015) have positive correlation, VEGF- C expression and recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients(P = 0.153) was found its relevance, negative expression of nm23 H1- and recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients(P = 0.192) was found its relevance.VEGF- C expression in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma and nm23 H1 expression in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma(P = 1.213) was found between its relevance,multi-factor analysis by Cox regression model. VEGF- C(P = 0.103) and the expression of nm23- H1(P = 0.005) can be used as locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma curative effect and prognosis factors. Conclusion:Locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma biopsy specimens of VEGF-C and the expression of nm23 H1- can be used as a reference index to predict the curative effect and prognosis of patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. |
