The data of Immunohistochemistry were analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 for windows,Using the ?2 test and Fisher exact test more positive to analyze the expression of IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 in BLBC〠NON-BLBC and normal breast tissues and o analyze the relationship of IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 with the clinicopathologic features of BLBC, α = 0.05 as inspection standard, P < 0.05 for differences with a statistical significance;Using the Spearman correlation analysis to analyze the correlation between IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42,α = 0.05 as inspection standard, P < 0.05 for differences with a statistical significance;Using the partition of ?2 method to analyze the expression of two groups between BLBCã€NON-BLBC and normal breast tissues, α = 0.05 as inspection standard, P < 0.0125 for differences with a statistical significance.Results:The expressions of IQGAP1 were 85.00%(51/60)ã€82.22%(37/45)ã€28.57%(10/35) in basal-like breast cancer, non-basal-like breast cancer and normal breast tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the expression of IQGAP1 in BLBC was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125);the expression of IQGAP1 in NON-BLBC was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125);the expression of IQGAP1 positively correlated with tumor size and p TNM staging of BLBC(P <0.05). The expressions of Rac1 were 81.67%(49/60)ã€51.11%(23/45)ã€20.00%(7/35) in basal-like breast cancer, non-basal-like breast cancer and normal breast tissues,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the expression of Rac1 in BLBC was significantly higher than that in NON-BLBC, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125);the expression of Rac1 in BLBC was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissue, and the difference was statistically significant( P < 0.0125);the expression of Rac1 in NON-BLBC were significantly higher than that in normal breast tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125); the expression of Rac1 positively correlated with pathological gradeã€lymph nodes metastasis and p TNM staging of BLBC(P <0.05). The expressions of Cdc42 were 85.00%(51/60)ã€55.55%(25/45)ã€31.42%(11/35) in basal-like breast cancer, non-basal-like breast cancer and normal breast tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the expression of Cdc42 in BLBC was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissue, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125);the expression of Cdc42 in BLBC was significantly higher than that in NON-BLBC, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0125);the expression of Cdc42 positively correlated with tumor size lymph nodes metastasis and p TNM staging of BLBC(P <0.05). There was positive correlation relationship between the expression of Rac1 and IQGAP1 in BLBC(r=0.404, P <0.05), there was positive correlation relationship between the expression of Cdc42 and IQGAP1 in BLBC(r=0.608, P<0.001), there was positive correlation relationship between the expression of Rac1 and Cdc42 in BLBC(r=0.645, P <0.001).Conclusions:IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 were over-expressed in BLBC,and the expression of IQGAP1 〠Rac1 and Cdc42 positively correlated with pathological grade 〠lymph nodes metastasis and p TNM staging of BLBC,indicating IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 were crucial importance in local invasion and distant metastasis of BLBC,and may play a key role in development and progression of BLBC,suggesting IQGAP1 〠Rac1 and Cdc42 can be used as BLBC indicators of poor prognosis and therapeutic targets in future.The expression of IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 were all relationship in BLBC,suggesting IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 participated in together the stage of tumor cell transformation and invasion in BLBC, suggesting to detecting the expression of IQGAP1ã€Rac1 and Cdc42 in BLBC may indicate the metastasis potential and prognosis in BLBC. |  | Keywords/Search Tags: | breast carcinoma, basal-like subtypes, immunohistochemistry, IQGAP1, Rac1, Cdc42 |  |  PDF Full Text Request |  | Related items |
