Pharmacodynamic Study Of Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder

With the increasingly serious environmental pollution, the upper respiratory tract have caused serious economic losses, without effective medicine, and have done great harm to the livestock husbandry in our country. In recent years, veterinary medicine depends on the unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of these diseases attracts more and more attention. Chinese medicine Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder( LHCQSP) is a combination of lianqiao, jinyinhua, chaihu, and huangqin Powder, with the effect of qingrejiedu, qingliyanhou, and qufenggubiao. The pharmacodynamic study of Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powdercan was carried out to provide evidence for preventing and treating upper respiratory tract infection.The objective of this experiment was to investigate the pharmacodynamic effect of Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder to provide the reasonable experiments reference for the clinical treatment. To investigate the relieve fever, analgesic, antitussive, expectorant effects of this medicine, the febrile test of rats induced by LPS, the pain test of mice established by acetic acid, the antitussive test of mice induced by ammonia, and the expectorant test of mice induced by tracheal phenol red secretion was used in this study. Inflammatory models were that the auricle swelling induced by xylene in mice, the mice applied by HAc-induced peritoneal capillary permeability and the foot swelling induced by egg white in rats to investigate anti- inflammatory effects. The mice’s immune organ index, the peritoneal macrophage phagocytosis and the lymphocyte proliferation were determined to investigate immunity effects of this medicine. Results:1. Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder showed obvious antipyretic effects in the test of fever induced by LPS, compared with the model group, the effect of high dose group is better(P<0.05).2. Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder showed certain analgesic effects in the test of writhing induced by acetic acid, analgesia rate by 34.81%, 32.59% and 27.31%, respectively(P<0.05).3. Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder also reduced cough times of mice by 36.82%, 31.48% and 20.37%, respectively(P<0.05), increased the amount of secreting phenol red(P<0.05).4. Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder also showed significant anti-inflammatory effects in the tests of the auricle swelling, the peritoneal capillary permeability, the foot swelling. Especially the effet of high dose is best(P<0.05).5. Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder exhibited certain immunity effects, it can improve the spleen index and the thymus index, enhance the ability of macrophage phagocytosis, promte the lymphocyte proliferation proliferation response. Conclusion:The study suggests that Lian-hua-chai-qin Soluble Powder showed the beneficial effects of relieve fever, analgesic, antitussive, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, and immuno-enhancing.
