Objective:Taking targeted behavioral interventions for pregnant women based on The Transtheoretical Model(TTM) and Motivational Interviewing(MI), to explore the effect of the behavioral interventions and then can be used as a clinical reference for weight management of pregnant women. Methods:Totally 115 women were selected and stratified randomly assigned to intervention group and control group. The intervention group received intervention based on TTM and MI.The control group received conventional prenatal education. The ideal rate of gestational weight gain, the stages of behavior change, the self-efficacy level and birth outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results:1. The ideal rate of gestational weight gain of the intervention group was higher than the control group (P< 0.05).2. The stages of behavior change was not statistically different in 28th week of pregnancy, but was statistically different before delivery.3. The self-efficacy level was not statistically different in 28th week of pregnancy (P>0.05),but was statistically different before delivery (P< 0.05).4. Macrosomia incidence of the intervention group was lower than the control group(P< 0.05).There was no statistically difference in cesarean delivery rate between the two groups.Conclusion:1. The behavioral intervention strategies based on TTM and MI can effectively increase the ideal rate of pregnancy weight gain.2. The behavioral intervention strategies based on TTM and MI can advance the stages of behavior change in pregnant women and improve the behavior of weight management.3. The behavioral intervention strategies based on TTM and MI can improve the self-efficacy of pregnancy women.4. The behavioral intervention strategies based on TTM and MI can reduce the incidence of macrosomia. |
