Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of foot motor-sensory area combined with traditional body acupuncture therapy on female stress urinary incontinence to provide basic for clinical treatment and application reference of the disease.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria, the sixty cases of female patients with stress urinary incontinence were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with thirty cases each. The treatment group were treated with scalp foot motor-sensory area combined with traditional body acupuncture therapy and the control group were treated with traditional body acupuncture therapy only. Acupoints selected:scalp acupuncture: bilateral foot motor sensory area; body acupuncture:Zhongji, bilateral Pangguangshu, bilateral Shenshu, bilateral Sanyinjiao. Bilateral scalp foot motor-sensory area used twirling manipulation 5 minutes with a sense of down stretching for the degree and about 200-250 frequencies one minute. When the needle body got qi, crossing connection the pole of Great Wall KWD-808 electronic needle therapy instrument of bilateral Pangguangshu, bilateral Shenshu, Sanyinjiao with the reinforcing method of twirling reinforcing and reducing manipulation. Electro-acupuncture parameter used rare wave and 2 Hz. The current strength was 0.1mA-1.OmA by the patient ability for suitable. Retaining the needle 30 minutes each time, or treating once per day, fifteen days is a course of the treatment, there was an interval of one day between every two treatments, a total of two courses of the treatment.Index of the efficacy:1 hour of the urine pad test, judge the severity of urinary incontinence, ICIQ -SF scale were evaluated for efficacy between pre-treatment and post treatment.Results:(1) As for the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment respectively by the amount of urine leakage, the severe degree of urinary incontinence and urinary incontinence symptom score. They were significant differences in the improvement above indices (P<0.05).(2) Valuating of the curative effect among two groups of the treatment group and control group after treatment. The combination of both scalp and simple traditional body acupuncture after treatment in each target improvement were significantly better than simple traditional body acupuncture and had the significant differences (P<0.05)(3) The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7%,and that of the control group was 75.0%,there was significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Both the scalp foot motor-sensory area combined with traditional body acupuncture therapy and the simple traditional body acupuncture therapy in the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence were effective.(2) The curative effect of the treatment group that scalp foot motor-sensory area combined with traditional body acupuncture therapy was better than the control group of simple traditional body acupuncture therapy. It could reduce the amount of urine leakage, relieve the level of the severity of urinary incontinence and decrease the urinary incontinence symptom score.
