Objective:Clinical features of pancreatic cancer patients with liver metastases and multimodality treatments were analyzed to explore their impact on patients’prognosis. Methods:Retrospective analysis of 64 pancreatic cancer patients with liver metastases from January 2009 to January 2012. Prognostic factors in clinical features and multimodality treatments were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression model with SPSS 19.0 software. Results:The median survival time (MST) of all patients was 4 month.6-month,1-year,2-year overall survival (OS) was 39.1%,21.9% and 7.8% respectively. Univariate analysis revealed that there were significant differences in age, pain, anorexia, CA19-9, ALT and GGT levels, surgery, chemotherapy embolism/transarterial chemotherapy, targeted therapy and multi-disciplinary treatment. Gender, tumor location, and weight loss had no obvious effect on the survival of patient. Multivariate analysis showed that extrahepatic metastasis, pain, CA19-9, targeted therapy, surgery, chemotherapy embolism/transarterial chemotherapy and multi-disciplinary treatment were closely related to the survival. Conclusions:In pancreatic cancer patients with liver metastases pancreatic cancer, Pain, CA19-9>1000 u/ml and extrahepatic metastases at diagnosis are adverse prognostic factors, targeted therapy, surgery, chemotherapy embolism/transarterial chemotherapy and multi-disciplinary treatment can improve the quality of life and prolong survival time.
