Objective:To investigate the application of digital three-dimensional model induced determination of femoral neck anteversion angle, and provide high efficiency method for clinical femoral neck anteversion angle measurement.Methods:Ten heathy volunteers, including five men and five women, aged 18-60 years (mean 43 years) were recruited. Bilateral femur CT scan was taken, and Mimics 17.0 software was used to three-dimensional reconstruct the femur. The femoral neck anteversion angles were determined by traditional photoshop method and three-dimensional space method respectively, and the femoral neck anteversion angle measurement values and the measurement time were compared.Results:The mean values of femoral neck anteversion angle determined by photoshop method was (16.98±4.16) °, and (16.95±4.17) ° determined by three-dimensional space method, there was no statistic significance between the two methods (P= 0.553). The mean value of time use measured by photoshop method was (1231.50+152.77) sec, and (590.00±37.18) sec by three-dimensional space method, with statistic significance(P=0.000).Conclusions:Both traditional photoshop method and three-dimensional space method could determine the femoral neck anteversion angle accurately, however, compared with the photoshop method, three-dimensional space method decreased the measurement time dramatically,which provided a high determination efficiency. |
