This paper introduces the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT), which has developed rapidly in recent years, and its applications in relevant diseases. Through analyzing the clinical applications of Impedance Rheogram, Body Composition Analysis, and Electrical Impedance Tomography(EIT) in body test and diseases examination, the advantages and disadvantages of the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT) are pointed out. Thus it also illustrates that the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT) will play an active role in clinical examination index,diagnosis, treatment, and medication in the future, because it is safe, effective,convenient and economical.Biomedical Signal is a kind of low-frequency weak signal that set out by life in a noisy environment. Usually, it is closely related to the structure of biological system and physiological condition. Meanwhile, it also features high randomcity, weak signal,noisy environment, low frequency, time variation and non-transcendental character.To achieve some meaningful physiological, biochemical and pathological signals from tissues and organs within vast of noisy and interfering signals, the biomedical signals have to be processed. During the procession, these signals are tested and quantified, which involves several fields at the same time, including noise reduction,signal digitalization, man-machine interface, and life science research. So we can draw the conclusion that the application of Biomedical Signal is related to the development of many other fields. When exploring the methods of extracting useful information and discarding interfering noise, frequency domain analysis, wavelet analysis, and neural network analysis are all considerable.As a kind of Biomedical Signal, bioelectrical impedance is highly related to the tissues and organs of human body. And its derivative, the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT) is to get effective medical information basing on the electrical characteristic of life. In recent years, due to its safety, convenience and high-effectiveness of information, the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT) is drawing increasing academic interest. However, with the same defects as Biomedical Signal, the signal of bioelectrical impedance also has some obvious disadvantages.But it can be predicted that the Bioelectrical Impedance Technology(BIT) will have awide application prospect and medicinal value with the improvement of related theories and technologies. This paper will further illustrate its applications in the case of several common diseases, providing a theoretical basis for its future development. |
