A Systematic Review About Pricking Blood Therapy Contrast Western Medicine On Acute Gouty Arthritis

Objective:Using the principle and method of Evidence based Medicine to evaluate the effectiveness of pricking blood therapy contrast western medicine on acute gouty arthritis, also evaluate the methodological quality of the included literatures, and investigate the present situation of pricking blood therapy on acute gouty arthritis.Method:Search the databases of CNKI(Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database、VIP (Chinese science and technology core database)、CBM (China biomedical literature database)、Wang Fang Database and MEDLINE, collect the randomized and half-randomized controlled trail about pricking blood therapy on acute gouty arthritis. Screen literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Acquire the basic information of the included primary studies. Using the Jadad score scale to assess the methodology quality of the included studies, and use the statistical software of Review Manager 5.3 for meta-analysis.Result:Totally 13 clinical observations include 1072 case were collected,4 of them were high-quality research, the others were low-quality research. Using random effects model to do Meta analysis, result is the combine OR(randomized)=5.46, 95%Cl(3.59,8.30),Z=7.95 (P＜0.00001).The difference has statistical significance The funnel plot has a high degree of symmetry.Conclusion:The results of meta-analysis indicated that the pricking blood therapy group is superior to the control group.pricking blood therapy is a simple、 convenient、effective and low-cost treatment,the result of meta-analysis provide an advantage evidence for this therapy on acute gouty arthritis,but considered that the quality of included primary literatures were not highly, there still need more large sample、high-quality randomized controlled studies to confirm this conclusion.
