[Objectives]1.summarizing the current situation of geriatric nursing education both at home and abroad, in order to provide references for the construction to domestic bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates training scheme.2.building up the evaluation index system of core competence for the bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates,to offer the basis of cultivation and remarks as well as test for domestic Bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates.3.setting up the curriculum system of bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates connected with the core competence, to realize the effective linkage between the students’knowledge structures and abilities.4.establishing the contents construction of the geriatric nursing textbook, to highlight the advantage and adapt to the needs of the geriatric nursing major, as well as to promote the healthy development of the geriatric nursing education.[Methods]l.The principles and foundations for setting up the core competence and curricu-lum system and textbook contents of Bachelor of geriatric nursing under graduates are discussed by review study.2.The basic frameworks of the core competence and curriculum system and textbook contents are drafted through theory study combining with the domestic geriatric nursing demands and current situation.3.Delphi method is conducted to consult experts on evaluation the items and weights of those drafted. To define what we need according to the experts consulting suggestions ultimately.[Results]1.The evaluation index system of core competence for the Bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates is established, including 8 dimensions,26 entries, and the weights of each item. It assumes that the orders of the 8 dimensions consist of practical nursing ability(0.1964), interpersonal ability(0.1408), critical judging ability(0.1359), professional developmental ability(0.1257), laws and ethics ability(0.1208), nursing management ability(0.1099), educating and consulting ability(0.1023), scientific and created ability(0.0680).2.The curriculum structure is constructed on the foundation of the core competence, which concludes 2 course qualities,4 course branches and 4 course modules.2 course qualities are compulsory subject and optional subject.4 course branches are public basic course branch, major basic course branch, major course branch and ability raising course branch which is divided into 4 course modules consists of professional development module, scientific and critical thinking module, educating and managing module, humane quality module.46 courses corresponds to each branch respectively.3.Followed by the principles of teaching material flexible development project,the contents construction of the geriatric nursing textbook is established on the basis of the core competence and the curriculum structure that is involved with 12 sections and 55 chapters.[Conclusions]1.It shows that the coefficient of experts’ concentration, the extent of authority, and the level of harmonization are high comparatively Through 2 turns experts consultations which proves that the drafted core competence,curriculum system and textbook contents are scientific and reliable.2.The defined core competence,curriculum system and textbook contents promotes the training of core competence for bachelor of geriatric nursing undergraduates, cultivation of high quality geriatric nursing talented people in our country in addition.3.The determined core competence,curriculum system and textbook contents enriches the intensions of geriatric nursing discipline considerably which provides references for the construction of the domestic Bachelor of geriatric nursing under-graduates training scheme. It is meaningful that to speed up the geriatric nursing education’s reform as well as to build up the second degree geriatric nursing discipline in our country. |
