Objective: 1. To investigate the effect of rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model on health behavior change stages and rehabilitation exercise adherence of the PCI patients; 2. To investigate the effect of rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model on improve the quality of life and enhancing self-efficacy of the PCI patients; 3. To investigate the effect of rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model on change unhealthy lifestyle, blood pressure, blood lipid level of the PCI patients; Methods: The 107 patients hospitalized in the Department of Cardiology from 2014 October to 2015 October were divided into intervention group(52 cases) and control group(55 cases), using the random number table method. Control group hospitalized on fifth floor, intervention group hospitalized on the fourth floor. The control group was given routine nursing and health education. Intervention group was given the cardiac rehabilitation interventions based on the transtheoretical model for 6 months on the basis of routine nursing. Evaluate patients behavior change stage and divided them into precontemplation stage, contemplation stage, preparation stage, action stage, maintenance stage. Using Consciousness Raising, Dramatic Relief Self Reevaluation, Environmental Reevaluation, Social Liberation, Helping Relationship, Counter Conditioning, Reinforcement Management, Self Liberation, Stimulus Control strategy to stimulate patients motivation of behavioral change and consolidate the commitment to behavior change, assist them in developing rehabilitation exercise program. Behavioral change stage questionnaire, quality of life assessment Short Form(SF-36), General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES) and physiological indicators were used to assess patients with stage of behavior change, quality of life, self-efficacy levels. Rehabilitation exercise compliance, quality of life, self-efficacy and physiological parameters were compared before and after intervention. Results: There are no significant difference between the two group in general information(including age, gender, education level, NYHA functional class, the number of stents)(P> 0.05), the two groups were compared. Comparison of two groups of stage of behavior change and rehabilitation exercise adherence: the intervention group behavior change stage higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); rehabilitation exercise compliance of intervention group higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Comparison of two groups of quality of life and self-efficacy: the physiological function, general health, mental health scores of the intervention group were enhanced, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); the quality of life of intervention group( except the emotional functions and mental health) were significantly improved before and after the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); physiological functions, physical pain of the control group has improved, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). Compare two groups of patients blood pressure, lipid levels: SBP, total cholesterol, triglycerides of intervention group were better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglycerides of intervention group were lower than before the intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05); total cholesterol of the control group lower than before, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: 1. Rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model can promote the transformation of behavior change stage and improve rehabilitation exercise adherence of patients after PCI. 2. Rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model can improve the quality of life and self-efficacy level of patients after PCI, but the improvement is not obvious in the emotional function and mental health. 3. Rehabilitation exercise intervention based on transtheoretical model can reduce blood pressure, lipid levels in patients after PCI, but for the control of high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein is not significant.
