Analysis Of Clinicopathological Characteristics Between Uyghur And Han Patients With Luminal B Breast Cancer In Xinjiang

Objective : To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics of Luminal B breast cancer(LBBC) between Uyghur and Han ethnic patients of Xinjiang. Methods:The clinicopathological date were collected from 137 Uyghur and 469 Han patients of operable LBBC that treated in the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2010 to June 2014,the differences of clinicopathological data between two ethnics ofLBBC were comparative analyzed. Results : LBBC proportion in all breast cancer patients was 56.6%, among them, the proportion of Han patients was 56.6%,the Uyghur patients was 57.1%, differences were no statistically significant between the two groups(P>0.05).Uighur nationality significantly differed from the Han LBBC patients in terms of age distribution,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,histological grading and vascular invasion between two groups werestatistically significant(P<0.01).Meanwhile there were no statistical differences in whether menstrual status,pathological type,postoperative chemoradiotherapy and Ki67 expression between the patients with LBBC in both groups(P>0.05).Uyghur and Han LBBC patients has its differences between HER-2expression and the subtype group of LBBC,there exist statistically significant(P<0.05).The subtype of LBBC which thriple positive breast cancer(TPBC)patients in Uighur nationality were higher than han patients. There were significant differences between theage,menstrual status,tumor size and histological grade,difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). And there were no statistical significance differences between tumor stage,lymph node metastasis,postoperative radiotherapy,vascular invasion and the pathological type(P>0.05).For han nationalities there were some correlations between the Ki67 expression and HER-2 expression(P<0.05),meanwhile no correlations in Uyghurpatients.Conclusions: Compared to Han nationalities,Uyghur LBBC patients have some characteristics like young age,large tumor size, high histological classification and more lymph node metastasis rate,high rate of vascular invasion characteristics. TPBC is more common in the females with Uyghur nationality than that in the females with Han nationality. Compared to Han nationality,Uyghur female patients with TPBC havethe characteristics including young age, large tumor size when onset, high histological classification, and are more common in patients with premenopausal.
