Objective:To investigate the association between subclinical hypothyroidism(SCH)during early pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes and neonatal complications. Methods:The complete clinical date of 194 pregnant women are retrospectively analyzed, whose regular prenatal examination and delivery were carried out in maternity ward of First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January to June 2015.According to the recommended reference value of TSH in guidelines of the American Thyroid Association(ATA) in 2011 for the diagnosis and management of thyroid disease during pregnancy and postpartum, these pregnancy women were also grouped into three groups: the group of subclinical hypothyroidism(n=49),the group of hypothyroxine(n=11) and the group of normal control(n=134).Result:1.Compared to the control group, subclinical hypothyroidism group FT4 was lower, and the differences between them had statistical significance. The premature birth increased in the sub-clinical hypothyroidism group than those of control group and the difference between them had statistical significance(P<0.05).2.The levels of TSH in TPO-Ab positive of the control group were higher than TPO-Ab negative in the group of the control group.3.The premature rupture of membranes increased in the TPO-Ab positive subclinical hypothyroidism group than those of the antibody- negative subclinical hypothyroidism group, and the difference between them had statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusions:SCH during the first trimester is a risk factor of stagnation of avtive phase and premature birth of newborn.SCH combined with TPO-Ab positive during the first trimester is a risk factor of premature rupture of membranse.
