Study On The Characteristics Of PSG Of Lung Not Stores Corporeal Soul Syndrome And Heart Not Stores Spirit Syndrome Of The Five Zang-organs Spirit Types Of TCM Insomnia

Objective: Use the polysomnography(PSG) to monitor the differences of the sleep related parameters between lung not stores corporeal soul syndrome(the lung group)and heart not stores spirit syndrome(the heart group) of the five Zang-organs spirit types of TCM insomnia.Methods:Selected from The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University psychiatry October 2013 to 2015 July hospitalization diagnosis for patients with insomnia disease,according to five Zang-organs spirit types of TCM insomnia standard and analysed the sleep related parameters of PSG of insomniacs and healthy volunteers.The insomniacs were divided into lung not stores corporeal soul group(45 cases)and heart not stores spirit group(43 cases),the other 40 healthy volunteers were adopted as control group(43 cases).Results:In the sleep structure:N1 percentage of lung not stores corporeal soul group was higher than heart not stores spirit group in the N1period(P<0.01);N2 percentage of heart not stores spirit group was less than lung not stores corporeal soul group in the N2 period(P<0.05);N3 percentage of heart not stores spirit group was higher than lung not stores corporeal soul group in the N3 period(P<0.05);REM percentage of lung not stores corporeal soul group was lower than heart not stores spirit group in the REM period(P<0.01).In the sleep process:In lung not stores corporeal soul group,the total sleeping time was longer than heart not stores spirit group(P<0.01);In heart not stores spirit group,the sleeping efficiency was less than lung not stores corporeal soul group(P<0.01)and the sleeping latency was longer than lung not stores corporeal soul group(P<0.01); In lung not stores corporeal soul group,the the number of awakening and the awake times were more than heart not stores spirit group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The sleep related parameters of PSG could be the quantitative indicator of distinguishing the lung not stores corporeal soul syndrome and the heart notstores spirit syndrome of five Zang-organs spirit types of TCM insomnia.
