Objective To investigate the effect of nephritis Xiaobaikeli on the expression of urine microalbumin 、 albumin to creatinine ratio and renal pathological morphology and prodocyte-relating proteins podocin and nephrin in rats with diabetic kidney disease(DKD),and to investigate the mechanism of nephritis Xiaobaikeli in the treatment of DKD.Methods After Unilateral nephrectomizing the models of rats of diabetic kidney disease at the early stage with High Fat/High Sucrose Diet and Streptozotocin, they are separated into5 groups:the blank control group, the model contrast group,the group with high dosage of nephritis Xiaobaikeli,the group with low dosage of nephritis Xiaobaikeli and the group with Benazepril Hydrochloride(Lotensin).After 8 weeks of observation, test the microalbumin(m Alb) and Albumin to Creatinine Ratio(ACR);Color the Pathological Sections through the PAS staining,using light microscope observation rat kidney tissue pathological change;test the expression level of podocin and nephrin with immunohistoche mistry method.Results nephritis Xiaobaikeli can reduce the m Alb and ACR significantly, the group with nephritis Xiaobaikeli is much clearer than the model group(P<0.05),Compared with the Lotensin group,nephritis Xiaobaikeli low-dose group has a distinctive difference(P<0.05);it can lighten the Mesangial Proliferation, Basement Membrane incrassation and the fuse of foot process; nephritis Xiaobaikeli can increase the expression of prodocyte-relating proteins podocin and nephrin,Compared with the Lotensin group, the protein expression level of podocin and nephrin in the nephritis Xiaobaikeli low-dose group has a distinctive difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Nephritis Xiaobaikeli can reduce the m Alb and ACR of the rats with diabetic kidney disease, with the increasing of the expression of prodocyte-relating proteins podocin and nephrin,the reducing of the discharging of the Proteinuria, the purpose of protecting kidney is abstained, at the same time, the progress of diabetic kidney disease in rats is delayed.
