ObjectiveTo observe the dynamic changes of. TCM syndrome types following the primary TKA of Knee osteoarthritis patients, and analysis of the relationship between TKA and TCM constitution in patients with knee osteoarthritis.MethodsOur study included patients with severe knee osteoarthritis who underwent TKA for the first time between March 2015 and March 2016. Preoperative and postoperative 3 days,1 weeks,2 weeks after operation,1 months after the operation and 3 months after the operation, the changes of TCM syndrome types were compared. According to the different observation indexes and data, the SPSS19.0 data statistics software package was used for data entry and analysis. A total of 72 cases of this study, including 59 women,13 men, the average age of 68±7.4 years old, the maximum age of 83 years old, the minimum age of 41 years old. Mean 7.8 ±6.3 years, mean 61.6±10.5Kg, including 31 cases of left total knee arthroplasty,35 cases of right total knee replacement, 7 cases of bilateral total knee replacement.ResultsPreoperative observation in 72 cases,26 cases of liver and kidney deficiency,25 cases of blood stasis group,10 cases of cold dampness,11 cases of Qi and blood deficiency group.3 days and 1 weeks after operation, blood stasis group were 41 cases and 44 cases, respectively, accounting for 56.94% and 61.11% of the total number. After 2 weeks, blood stasis group accounted for 27.77%, significantly decreased.2 weeks after the operation, the proportion of patients with Qi and blood deficiency group increased nearly double of its original one accounting for 27.77% of the total. The number of patients with cold dampness were relatively small,3 months after surgery, 6 cases (60%) occurred syndrome type change. Deficiency of liver and kidney and deficiency group of patients accounted for the vast majority of proportion, preoperative 26 cases accounted for 26.11%. Postoperative 3 months for 39 cases, 54.17% of the total,3 months after the operation, changes due to deficiency of Qi and blood group has 5 cases, accounting for 45.45%, of which 2 cases changes into deficiency of liver and kidney,3 cases showed to qi stagnation and blood stasis,6 cases did not change, not due to deficiency of Qi and blood. Each card type change results using spss19.0 by statistical test, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significance, which 3 days after operation, postoperative 1 week, after surgery in 1 month,3 months of syndrome types of has statistical significance.ConclusionOur study found that the TKA patients with TCM syndrome type will have some changes, which within 2 weeks after surgery with qi stagnation and blood stasis is the change, postoperative 2 weeks to 3 months due to deficiency of Qi and blood syndrome, postoperative 3 months more changes in liver and kidney deficiency syndrome.
