Object:Cervicogenic headache is a common clinical symptoms of headache, and the morbidity is increasing. We aims to observe the improvement of main symptoms of cervicogenic headache by " LONGHUJIAOZHAN " acupuncture, and make comparison with conventional acupuncture treatment. Combined with its clinical evaluation, elaborated feasibility of clinical application, provide reference and guidance for clinical treatment.Methods:60 qualified patients are randomly divided into two groups:conventional acupuncture group (control group) and the LONGHUJIAOZHAN acupuncture group (treatment group).Each group includes 30 patients.Acupoints:Hegu (bilateral). Taichong (bilateral), Jingjiaji (bilateral), Fengchi (bilateral). Dazhui. Among them, according to the nerve segment on imaging, Jiaji points which are around the lesion. or according to the patient tenderness around the site are treated. Course of treatment:once every other day,3 times a week, a week for one course continuous treatment of 3 courses.Evaluation indicator:Visual analog scale (VAS) and weight value; Main symptoms and signs; Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale Evaluation (SAS), Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale Evaluation (SDS).Conclusion:Both "LONGHUJIAOZHAN" acupuncture and conventional acupuncture therapy have positive clinical effect on cervicogenic headache, and can significantly relieve symptoms of headache, also the therapeutic effect is basically the same. In the early treatment "LONGHUJIAOZHAN" acupuncture works better and faster than conventional acupuncture.While there is no significant difference in long term.Meanwhile "LONGHUJIAOZHAN" acupuncture has a large stimulating effect, which is unbearable for patients. So in clinical operation, we’d better choose appropriate approach for patients. |
