The Retrospective Analysis Of The Efficacy And Safety Of Tripterygium Wilfordii Multiglycosides Combined With Prednisone In Patients With IMN

ObjectiveThe present study was aimed at analyzing the clinical data and pathological data of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) and secondary membranous nephropathy(SIM). Meanwhile, the study will analyze the efficacy and safety of tripterygium wilfordii multiglycosides (TWG)combined with prednisone(P) in patients with IMN.MethodsThe study will review and study the clinical data and pathological data of 47 patients (39 patients with IMN and 8 patients with SMN), they all reviewed percutaneous renal biopsy in Shen Zhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Moreover, we will analyze and summarize the clinical data of the 43 patients with IMN. The 22 patients received TWG+P for 6 months, and the other 21 patients just received TWG for 6 months. we will analyze the data of all the patients after the six months of treatment, and compare the therapeutic effect of the two methods of treatment. All the data were obtained by medical record room and telephone follow-up.ResultsThe positive rate of IgA, glomerular sclerosis and mesangial proliferation were higher in SMN compared to IMN(P<0.05). The ALB of SMN was inferior to the ALB of IMN, meanwhile the 24-hour proteinuria was seriously elevated, and the positive rates of renal tubular atrophy, interstitial fibrosis and inflammation were higher. (P>0.05). In the IMN with cruenturesis, the Scr, the 24-hour proteinuria and the positive of Clq, glomerular sclerosis, Mesangial proliferativewere higher to the IMN without cruenturesis,but the ALB was higher in the IMN without cruenturesis. The patients reviewed TWG+P:the serum albumin(ALB) was elevated After the treatment(p<0.05), and the 24-hour proteinuria was obviously reduced(P<0.05),and serum creatinine(Scr) and total cholesterol(TC) were reduced too(P<0.05). The patients reviewed TWG:the 24-hour proteinuria was also reduced(P<0.05), and the ALB,high-density lipoprotein(HDL) was elevated(P<0.05). The comparison after the treatment:the efficacy of the patients reviewed TWG+P was obviously superior to the efficacy of the patients just reviewed TWG in the remission rate of the 24-hour proteinuria and in the elevation ratio of ALB(P<0.05). Relative to the effective rate(55%) of the patients reviewed TWG, the effective rate of the patients reviewed TWG+P was up to 90%(P<0.05).Conclusion1.SMN may be worse than IMN in the early diagnosis.2. The IMN with cruenturesis was worse than IMN without cruenturesis.3. The treatment of TWG+P and TWG were effective to the remission of IMN.4. The role of TWG+P was better to IMN.
