Clinical Study Of Treating Liver Depression And Qi Stagnation Type Of Mammary Glands Hyperplasia By Scrapping And Electroacupuncture

ObjectiveWhether there is any difference between scrapping combined with electroacupuncture and electroacupuncture only for liver depression and qi stagnation type of mammary gland hyperplasia by observing their treatment effect. This study can provide a guidance for clinical treatment.Methods60 cases of suitable patients were randomly divided into the treatment group 30 cases and the control group 30 cases. The treatment group was treated by scrapping and electroacupuncture while the control group was treated by electroacupuncture. Two groups used the same points. Scrapping for the treatment group was treated once a week, electroacupuncture for two groups was treated twice a week,6 times for 1 course of treatment and the totally treatment was 2 courses. The treatment would be stopped during the menstrual period. Recorded the points of index like pain, lumps of breast and concomitant symptoms before and after treatment. Then evaluate the treatment effect.ResultsBefore the treatment, two groups were comparable on age, course of disease and disease index by statistic analysis (P>0.05).Both methods had a good treatment effect in improving the symptoms of breast pain, lumps, and concomitant symptoms (P<0.05).In improving the hardness and size of lumps, mood changes and fullness of hypochondrium, the treatment group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Both groups shows similar efficacy in improving breast’s pain, lumps’range and abnormal menstruation (P>0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%while the control group was 90.0%. The significant efficiency of the treatment group was 40% and it was 23.33% of the control group. The difference on the curative effect of two groups have statistical significance by the rank and inspection.ConclusionsThe treatment effect of the two methods for liver depression and qi stagnation type of Mammary Glands Hyperplasia was accurate. Breasts pain, lumps and concomitant symptoms were improved after treatment. In improving the hardness and size of lumps, mood changes and fullness of hypochondrium, the group of scrapping combined with electroacupuncture was better than that of the group of pure electroacupuncture. The significant efficiency of the treatment group was obviously better than the control group while the total effective rate of the two groups was similar. Scrapping combined with electroacupuncture had a significant curative effect on treating liver depression and qi stagnation type of Mammary Glands Hyperplasia and it was worth popularizing in clinic.
