With the economic, social and cultural development, people’s living habits and the way they work ensuing dramatic changes, a significant increase in long bow desk work staff do make the incidence of cervical disease rising trend, and gradually showing a general, younger trend. The early 21 st century, the World Health Organization announced the "world’s top ten illnesses", the cervical spondylosis is in addition to cardiovascular disease, the second highest incidence. according to statistics, the world’s have six billion people, about 600 million people suffer from cervical disease, only China had 200 million patients, which has seriously affected people’s normal life, work and learning, and thus to find a simple, effective, effective, affordable and acceptable methods of treatment the patient is very urgent. In this study, neck and shoulder exercise combined with Tuina Manipulation treatment of cervical spondylosis, explore its efficacy. Objective:With the beginning of Cervical spondylotic, This study Design Scheme of Tuina Manipulation combined with Exercise Rehabilitation for patients who have the problem of Cervical instability,in order to determine whether the Tuina Manipulation combined with Exercise Rehabilitation useful for Cervical spondylotic. Methods: 40 patients with cervical spondylopathy who met the inclusion criteria from the Tutor’s clinic were recruited into this study from March 2014 to September 2014. 40 patients were randomly divided into two groups: manipulation group and combination group. manipulation group were simple use Tuina therapy, combination group were received neck and shoulder function exercise combine with Tuina therapy what according to the patients own circumstances. There about 10 times treatment for a course of treatment, the whole treatment consist of three courses of treatment. After the treatment, the combination group’s patients continue to exercising the neck muscles autonomously, the manipulation group did not take any measures. Using the Japanese Orthopaedic Association score( JOA), Neck Disability Index(NDI), Visual Analoguc Scale( VAS),and "TCM Syndrome Diagnostic efficacy of the standard" to evaluating of the treatment effect what were tested at the treatment began, end and three months later. patients since the condition become more serious what lead to JOA and NDI anyone’s efficacy index scale decreased by 30%, deemed cervical disease recurrence. The evaluation results of the treatment use the SPSS19.0 statistical analysis software to analysis the date at the treatment’s begin, end and three months later.Results:1 Before the treatment, two groups of patients’ general information and JOA, NDI and VAS score, the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).2 Two groups of patients compared with itself before and after the treatment, the VAS score, JOA score difference and resistance NDI were statistically significant(P <0.05). The combination group’s effective rate was 95%, the manipulation group’s effective rate was 80%, after rank sum test, P = 0.042 <0.05, the difference was statistically significant.3 At the end of treatment, the two groups’ VAS, JOA, NDI score comparisons are made independent sample t test, which VAS score, t =-2.432, P = 0.02 <0.05, the difference was statistically significant; JOA score, t = 3.076, P = 0.004 <0.01, the difference was statistically significant; NDI score, t =-3.614, P = 0.001 <0.01, the difference was statistically significant.4 3 months after the end of treatment, combination group and the manipulation group groups using independent sample t test, concluded that in terms of VAS score, t =-2.576 P = 0.014 <0.05; JOA score aspect t = 2.632 P=0.012 <0.05; JOA respect, t =-5.339 P= 0.000 <0.01. Relapse rate, combination group have 1 patient relapse, about 5.3%, manipulation group have 5 cases of recurrence, accounting for 31.2%, and through the Rank sum test analysis results, z=-2.003 P=0.045 <0.05, significant difference.Conclusion:1 Neck and shoulder exercise combined with Tuina therapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, relieve pain and improve daily living.2 Neck and shoulder exercise combined with Tuina therapy therapy is an effective and good, quick, low cost, side effects, and patients are easy to accept the treatment of cervical disease therapy, for the maintenance of long-term treatment also has a very significant role.
