| Objective:To observe the effect of Electro-acupuncture with Different Stimulation Intensities on Acute Hepatic Injury Caused by Triptolide in Rats and to explore the mechanism. Methods:A total of 50 SD rats were equally randomized into normal group, model, (electro-acupuncture) EA 20 minutes, EA 30 minutes and EA 40 minutes; the acute hepatic injury model was established by giving the rats triptolide. Electro-acupuncture was applied to "Tsusanli"(ST 36), once daily for 5 days beginning from the first day of modeling. Detect the level of ATL,AST,MDA, (interleukin) IL-10and (Tumor Necrosis Factor α) TNF-α contents, and to observe the pathological changes of hepatocytes. Results:In comparison with the normal group, ATL,AST,MDA and TNF-a contents were significantly increased and IL-10 contents were decreased in the model group(P< 0.05).Compared to the model group, ATL,AST,MDA and TNF-acontents were considerably own-regulated,and it is the most significant in EA 30mins group; IL-10 content was obviously up-reulated in EA groups (P<0.05),and it is the most significant in EA 30mins group.Conclusion:electro-acupuncture can relieve liver injury in acute hepatic injury caused by triptolide rats, and it is the most significant in EA 30mins group. The mechanism may possibly relate to the regulation of inflammatory response and inhibition of lipid peroxidation. |
